The Mary Ann Evans Hospice Shops make a valuable contribution towards the running costs of our Hospice Services.

Each shop has two members of staff who are supported by teams of enthusiastic and hard working volunteers.

The shops sell a range of good quality, clean, second hand goods.

Donations
We always need your donations of good quality second hand goods to keep the shops well stocked. If you have any items to donate you can take them directly to any of the shops.

We would be glad to receive any of the following items:

China—Glass—Crockery
Good Adult, Children and Baby Clothes
Curtains—Tablecloths—Bed Linen—Towels
Jewellery—Books—Records—Videos—Toys—Games
Small Items of Furniture

Items We Cannot Accept
Unfortunately, due to Government safety regulations, we are unable to accept second hand electrical goods. Upholstered furniture MUST have a label attached stating they are made of a fire retardant material.

Please Note
Please do not be offended if the shop staff are unable to accept your donations. It costs the Hospice money to dispose of items we cannot sell. We have to adhere to strict standards to maintain the quality of goods in our shops.
