Support Groups

Support Groups are formed when a few people join together to raise the awareness and funding to promote a good cause. The Mary Ann Evans Hospice groups formed for different reasons. It may be following care of a loved one, following an interest in fundraising or a 'give back' to society. The Mary Ann Evans Hospice are pleased to have 3 support groups working to provide extra funding to benefit patient care.

Mary Ann Evans Support Groups

The Mary Ann Evans Hospice's Nuneaton Support Group must truly be congratulated. They were the initial group in 1987 who, with MP Bill Olner's vision for a Hospice, campaigned to provide the much needed facility. The Group continue to fundraise, raising thousands every year from various events they organise, collecting tins, and the Christmas raffle.

The Coleshill Suport Group.
The Group consists of local people who regularly
hold events, street collections and coffee mornings.
Since their formation in 2000 an amazing £25,000 plus has been raised.
